BEACH OPENING DELAYED: Due to high water levels, the beaches at Monroe Lake's Paynetown and Fairfax SRAs will not be open for swimming on Memorial Day weekend. Water levels at Monroe Lake are managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Current data on the water level can be found here. Please check back here or on the Monroe Lake Facebook page for beach updates.
